The Leadership Team will endeavor to include as much information as we can in each section of the site. This FAQ page is meant to help answer additional questions you have as you prepare to apply and/or attend the competition.

Teams
Q: Can multiple teams from my school apply?
A: Yes. There is no limit on the number of teams that can apply from one school. Each application will be judged on its own merit. Keep in mind, however, that a student may only apply on one application. A student cannot apply on multiple applications.
Q: I want to participate, but need some time and/or help to round out a team from my school. What should I do?
A: That's great to hear! Please let us know of your interest here and we will work with you to help put together a team. Please note that teams must be composed of four second-year members and two first-year members.
Q: One of our teammates will no longer be able to participate. May we make a substitution?
A: Of course! Please send an email to Bella.Parekh.2009@owen.vanderbilt.edu with the details of your substitution, including the resumé(s) of all requested team substitutes. Substitutes are expected to meet all requirements for team entry.
Logistics
Q: When will travel information be posted?
A: Suggestions on travel will be posted as soon as teams are selected. Nashville's Airport (BNA) is very accessible and services most national carriers (including Southwest, USAirways and Delta).
Q: What expenses will participants be expected to cover?
A: If your team is selected, you will be responsible for covering your own lodging and travel expenses, along with a $150 participation fee (this is per team, not per student). We have secured discounted rooms at the Embassy Suites-Nashville, which is within walking distance to competition venues. The Embassy Suites also provides an airport shuttle so car rentals are not needed. The competition will be providing the majority of your meals.
